Many of us are familiar with the term Fibromyalgia. Widespread pain, fatigue, sleep disturbance, irritable bowel complaints and anxiety are all commons symptoms of Fibromyalgia. Hypermobility will often share the same symptoms of Fibromyalgia, including musculoskeletal pain and stiffness.
If you have been struggling with a number of these symptoms but are yet to receive a diagnosis, come along to our open evening to find out more.
We will be holding an informal evening on Tuesday 1st October with Dr Philip Bull, Consultant Rheumatologist at the One Ashford Hospital. Dr Bull will be able to discuss how a diagnosis is made, how to manage your symptoms, along with answering any questions you may have about Fibromyalgia or Hypermobility.
Dr Philip Bull is an experienced Consultant Rheumatologist in all aspects of Rheumatology and musculoskeletal medicine. He has a particular interest in Joint Hypermobility Syndromes and Fibromyalgia. He is actively involved in supporting the work of the Hypermobility Syndromes Association (HMSA).
The event begins at 7:00pm for registration and an evening buffet, with Dr Bull speaking from 7:30pm.
There will be an optional tour of the hospital at the end of the event.
