Mr Stephen Ng Man Sun is a Consultant Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in the management of a wide range of childhood orthopaedic conditions. This includes acute injuries to children’s arms and leg as well as long standing problems affecting the ability to walk and hip, knee and foot problems.

Mr Ng Man Sun is an NHS Consultant in Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgery at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. His private practice is based in Hertfordshire and London and is dedicated to paediatrics patients (birth-16 years old). His aim is to bring his tertiary level expertise to Hertfordshire.
He studied Medicine at University College London Medical School where he also gained a BSc. in Orthopaedic Science with First Class Honours from the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore. He undertook higher Orthopaedic Surgical Training on the Imperial North West London Training Programme. Following completion of training, he undertook a Paediatric Orthopaedic Fellowship at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital as well as the prestigious UK based Fred Dietz Clubfoot Fellowship.
Mr Ng Man Sun has gained experience in managing complex paediatric orthopaedic patients and trauma at several tertiary centres which include: the John Radcliffe Hospital (Major Trauma Centre), Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital and Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.
Mr Ng Man Sun was grew up in North-West London and went to school in Hertfordshire. He lives with his wife and 2 daughters in St. Albans. He spends most of his free time with his family but also enjoys playing Tennis on a weekly basis.

Mr Ng Man Sun is a postgraduate tutor and teaches orthopaedic doctors in training on the North West London Rotation as well as medical students who attend his clinics and theatre session at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.
He is actively involved in several nationally funded paediatric orthopaedic research projects and was joint primary investigator for the PIC Bone national project looking at the management of bone and joint infection. He has also been involved in writing several regional guidelines which include guidelines for West London Children’s Healthcare on paediatric trauma and the management of paediatric bone and joint infection.
