Mr Gary Atkin specialises in laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery, and his main interest is the surgical treatment of bowel cancer. Mr Atkin also treats a wide range of non-cancerous bowel and anal conditions, such as haemorrhoids, diverticular disease, and anal fistulas. In addition, he performs endoscopic procedures (gastroscopy and colonoscopy) as well as surgery for gallstones and hernias.



Mr Atkin  always tries to take a compassionate approach and aim to explain things clearly so that a patient is fully informed about their condition and the treatment options. Mr Gary Atkin believe this is very important in order to reduce a patient’s concerns and allow them to undergo the most appropriate treatment.

 

Mr Gary Atkin is married with a daughter and is an avid sports fan.
