Professional Profile

Dr. Naomi Selvadurai graduated from Guy’s and St. Thomas’s Medical School in 1998. She completed her General Practice Training in the London Deanery at St. Thomas’s Hospital, South London and Maudsley Hospital and in South London, gaining valuable experience in paediatrics, psychiatry, A&E, care of older people, and general medicine. She holds the MRCGP with distinction and the Diploma of the Faculty of Family Planning and Reproductive Healthcare, including competencies in inserting and removing subdermal and intrauterine contraceptives.

Dr. Selvadurai is a GMC-approved GP trainer, supervising and training doctors to become fully qualified GPs. She is also a registered trainer with the Faculty of Family Planning and Reproductive Healthcare, teaching doctors and nurses to fit and remove contraceptive implants and coils.

With over 20 years of experience in General Practice, Dr. Selvadurai has worked in both NHS and private practices in London before becoming a partner at a large training practice in North Hertfordshire in addition to her work as a GP at One Hatfield.

For 15 years, she has been the lead women’s health GP at her NHS practice and her Primary Care Network and is also the Care Home Lead for her Primary Care Network, specialising in care of the older person.

She believes in a personalised and collaborative approach to patient care, working closely with her patients to achieve the best possible outcomes.
