Dr Hristova was born and educated in Bulgaria, qualifying from The Medical University of Varna in 2000. After that, Dr Hristova continued at the same institution, undertaking General Radiology training. Dr Hristova has been working as Consultant Radiologist in the UK since 2010 and has been part of the East Kent Hospital University Foundation Trust Radiology Team since 2013. Dr Hristova’s sub-special interest includes gynaecological imaging, with more than 10 years of experience, as well as pelvic floor imaging.

Dr Hristova recently took part in the European Society of Urogenital Radiology examination, which took place in Rome, Italy. Dr Hristova was awarded a European Diploma in Urogenital Radiology in September 2023.
