Dr Gorande Kanabar is a Consultant Clinical Neurophysiologist who provides accurate diagnosis of various medical problems concerning muscle and nerve injuries using numerous tests.

Consultant Clinical Neurophysiologist
After completing her post graduation at the University of Bombay, Dr Kanabar achieved her CCST in Clinical Neurophysiology at the Barts and London NHS Trust. She has completed 16 years at the East and North Herts NHS Trust as a full-time consultant and heads up the Neurophysiology Department where she introduced a new paediatric EMG service and video EEG service. Dr Kanabar is also an honorary Consultant at Great Ormond Street Hospital and a senior lecturer at Middlesex University. She has conducted presentations and workshops at several international conferences, focusing on improving access to paediatric neurophysiology services. She also teaches at the Wrightington Basic Science FRCS (Ortho) course.
Her passion is to educate other doctors about the importance of neurophysiology and to this end, she is involved with training the Neurology and Neurophysiology Specialist Registrars at the Royal Free Hospital.
Dr Kanabar enjoys reading, cooking Indian food and is a fan of Chelsea FC.
