One Ashford Hospital are proud to support The Urology Foundation who, working with researchers, urologists and healthcare professionals, aim to improve the nation’s urology care. They are dedicated to beating all urology diseases through cutting-edge research and leading education and training to ensure that fewer lives will be devastated.
The Urology Foundation regularly undertake fundraising events, and One Ashford recently donated £2,000 to the Atlantic Seamen challenge which saw four rowers bravely row across the Atlantic ocean in December to raise money for this great cause. Setting off from the Canary Islands, the four man team, all from Cornwall, took 43 days to complete this epic challenge, enduring torrential downpours and electricity failure on the way. There were lots of highlights though which included swimming with whales and rowing alongside dolphins! To read more on their adventures, click on the following link:
